SEBASTIAN ZANCHEZ and MALVINA GILI are a couple who dance for 14 years, Sebastian studied at the Art Institute of I.U.N.A, Malvina at the University of Tango. During their career, they have been part of the cast of different Tango companies, like “Tango Desire” and “Tempotango”, with which they have travelled to several countries as China, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia, Kuwait and others. They worked for two years on television with the tango leading figures like Alberto Podesta, Nelly Omar, Abel Córdoba, Hugo Marcel, Guillermo Fernandez, and with the major orchestras such as the “Sexteto Mayor” and the City Orchestra Buenos Aires, overseen by Raul Garello. They also participated as jury members at the Tango Festival of Medellin – Colombia 2010, and at the World Tango Championship 2013. Their commitment with the Argentine folklore has allowed them to realize several participations with the great figures of the country as Chango Nieto, Tamara Castro, and others, participating in major folk Argentina festivals (Cosquin, Villa Maria, etc.). For many years, they has been responsible for the Argentine Folk Dance transmission (Chacarera, Zamba, Gato, Econdido, etc.), organizing around the world various workshops and providing a broad knowledge of the traditional Argentine culture. In the last three years, they have worked in Italy as part of the teaching staff in the Tango Club Cremona (in schools in Brescia, Cremona), FiorentiaTango (Fiorenzuola) and La Mariposa (Milan).
Malvina and Sebastian live most of their time in Buenos Aires and part of the year in Italy; they got the 3rd place in the Championship “Ciudad de Buenos Aires 2013” and have been finalists in the Mundial de Tango de Buenos Aires for three consecutive years.
